Club Launch Area Gets A Haircut |
||
![]() The launch area at Drennan and Academy is getting even more popular now that issues with the local authorities and the Colorado Springs Airport Tower have been reconciled. Over 300 acres of open fields practically in town makes this LZ super convenient for local ppg pilots. Flying around the water tower in the background is a favorite short jont. No need to call the tower any more. Just stay over open space and under 500 feet. Call Bob "Bubba" Peters for directions. 719-771-1344 or 719-659-1346 |
